This rather well-known piece is from Michael Praetorius Terpsichore, a large collection of music that Praetorius published in 1612. It consists both of his own compositions and other pieces he collected. The composer of this actual piece is not known.
Here it is played in an arrangement for guitar quartet. I play all the parts myself. I made the recording to help some of my students when they learned the piece. Although this is a somewhat artificial way to record classical music I hope that it can be enjoyable to other listeners as well.
